Machame Route is an excellent route. It is scenic and well designed. Specifically, this means that the camps are at a slightly lower altitude than the day’s climb. This makes acclimatization easier. Lemosho Route merges with Machame Route partway into the climb. Machame Route is the most popular camping route on Mt Kilimanjaro.
